CORPORATE STRUCTURING IN THE SPOTLIGHT. ANALYSIS AND PERSPECTIVES ON THE NEW REPORTING OBLIGATIONS REGARDING UBOs AND CROSS-BORDER TAX ARRANGEMENTS (DAC6).

Transparency International Belgium and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP cordially invite you to an evening seminar to address the topic of Ultimate Beneficial Ownership and Mandatory Disclosure Rules for intermediaries (DAC6).

Thursday, February 21, 2019 | 17:15 – 19:00 followed by a drinks reception
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer | Bastion Tower | Place du Champ de Mars /Marsveldplein 5 | B-1050 Brussels

New EU legislation imposes far reaching measures in order to enhance transparency of corporate structures and tax arrangements. This includes measures such as the registering of information regarding ultimate beneficial ownership of legal entities and the disclosure by advisors and other intermediaries, and in some cases taxpayers, of certain cross-border tax arrangements.
How will these rather rigorous obligations to promote transparency impact Belgian enterprises’ compliance policies and governance in general? What are the opportunities and risks for business and for society at large?
This event is particularly interesting for legal counsels, risk managers and business managers operating in an international context.

Programme:

- 17:15 Registration

- 17:30

-  19:00 Drinks reception
