Emerging unscathed from whistleblowing: utopia or reality?

Date : 04/12/2018

Transparency International Belgium and Louvain School of Management organise a conference on the topic of whistleblowing. The effectiveness of whistleblowing in the fight against corruption and fraud is often debated and the implementation of reporting mechanisms raises many questions for organisations, both in the public and the private sector. Whistleblowing is a topical and complex issue, about which the last word has not yet been said!

We are very pleased to invite you on the 4th of December 2018 to our conference “Emerging unscathed from whistleblowing: utopia or reality?”. Experts from different professional backgrounds will share their views on the topic in the Belgian context. The debate will zoom in on the dos and don’ts of reporting mechanisms, the current legal framework and the protection of whistleblowers, especially in light of the recent EU Directive proposal.
