Call for volunteers - Event organisation
Who we are?
Transparency International Belgium (TI-BE)Transparency International Belgium is the Belgian Chapter of Transparency International (TI), a global movement working in over 100 countries to end the injustice of corruption.
Transparency International’s mission is to fight corruption and promote transparency, accountability, and integrity at all levels and in all sectors of society. TI also publishes an annual Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) that ranks 182 countries and territories worldwide based on their perceived level of corruption in the public sector.
At TI-BE, our mission is to protect public resources, stem the flow of dirty money, ensure integrity in politics and business, uphold the rule of law and justice, while expanding the civic space conducive to accountability and developing community leadership against corruption.
We are a nonpartisan organization that strives to be a constructive force within society by fostering debate and collaboration on issues such as corruption, transparency, integrity, and accountability.
At Transparency International Belgium, we conduct research, carry out educational programs, and meet with various stakeholders to discuss our vision of a more just Belgium; we also organize public events to raise public awareness.
Generally, we organize two public events per year and several private meetings as part of our Corporate Integrity Forum.
What are we searching for?
We are looking for people who share our values, who want to join our fight against corruption, and who want to help raise public awareness of the risks associated with corruption.
We are looking for people eager to join our “event” team as part of our effort to build volunteer teams for Transparency International Belgium.
There are no specific requirements or ideal candidate profiles. TI-BE encourages all committed individuals to participate in its activities.
Your role, under the supervision of a member of the TI-BE team, would be to help ensure the smooth running of TI-BE-organized events, guide guests, provide information about TI-BE’s initiatives and the projects selected for the Belgian Integrity Award, and potentially assist with coat check management and badge distribution. You will also take part in the evening by attending the ceremony.
How do you join?
Please contact us directly at connect@transparencybelgium.be with a small description of why you would like to join TI-BE as a volunteer in the event section.
